Dr. Peter Skillman and Louisa Beekman were married on 28 November 1833. They appeared in the census in 1860 in Montgomery Twp., Somerset, NJ. Louisa Beekman, daughter of Abraham Christopher Beekman and Rachel Cruser, was born about 1819. She died on 11 March 1887 at the age of 68. She was buried at Harlingen Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery in Belle Mead, Somerset, NJ.

1722	ii.	Cornelius Peter Skillman was born on 16 May 1837 in New Jersey. He died on 20 September 1914 at the age of 77 in Belle Mead, Somerset, NJ. He was a farmer in Harlingen, Montgomery Twp., Somerset, NJ. His SOA Number is 123 ii. Cornelius was buried at Harlingen Dutch Reformed Church Cemetery in Belle Mead, Somerset, NJ.
