1723. Dr. Abraham Beekman "Abram" Skillman was born on 28 June 1839 in New Jersey. He served in the military between 1863 and 1865 at Civil War. Medical dept., hospital in N.Y., Central Park Hosp. at Chatanooga, and a hosp. in Atlanta. Then to Savannah, Jacksonville, FL, Wash. D. C., discharged there. He was educated M. D. in 1863 at Albany Medical College in Albany, Albany, NY. About 1906 Abram was a physician in Bertram, Linn, IA. He died in 1930 at the age of 91. His SOA Number is 123 iii. Dr. Abraham Beekman "Abram" Skillman and Aura Moore were married on 13 December 1865. Aura Moore, daughter of James Moore and Lavinia Phelps, was born on 24 January 1847 in Indiana. She died in 1904 at the age of 57. She was buried at Moore-Skillman Cemetery in Linn Co., IA.

3887	iv.	Anna Louise "Lula" Skillman was born on 11 July 1873. She died before 1973 at the age of 100.
