He had a stroke in 1821 from which he never recovered, and died in 1934. He was buried on 11 January 1934 at Bruffey Cemetery in Livingston, Park, MT. Born in the year of the Custer Battle. Had a stroke in 1921 and never
really recovered.

"George Alexander Bruffey moved his family to the West Boulder area in 1890, homesteading on what is now the Triangle 7 Ranch and the family homesteaded around it. Stephen and Almeda and Francis and Fatima had adjoining homesteads."

Francis Elijah "Frank" Skillman and Fatima Adel Bruffey were married on 10 March 1897 in Park Co., MT. Fatima Adel Bruffey, daughter of George Alexander Bruffey and Matilda Jane Ridlen, was born on 15 September 1878 at Her father's stage station in Fish Creek, Jefferson, MT. She died on 7 June 1947 at the age of 68. She was buried at Mountain View Cemetery in Livingston, Park, MT.
