Richard L. Skillman, age 75, of Janesville, died on Thursday, March 14, 2013, surrounded by his family at home. He was born in Wilmington, DE, on Oct. 7, 1937, the son of Leroy and Margaret (Williams) Skillman. Richard served in the U.S. Army and had been stationed in Germany. He married Linda Burdick in Janesville on Jan. 10, 1978. He was the owner of Action Temp, and enjoyed classic car restoration. Richard very much enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his wife, Linda Skillman; four children: Ramona Castellani of Wilmington, DE, Domenica (Steven) Watts of New Castle, DE, Michele (James) Rosga of Janesville and Lance Skillman of Janesville; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Carmen R. Skillman on June 23, 2001; and his daughter, Catherine Paoli on Feb. 23, 2013.

He served in the military at Germany in U.S. Army. Richard was an owner at Action Temp.

Richard Leroy Skillman and Elizabeth F. "Betty" Mancari were married about 1960 in Wilmington, New Castle, DE. They were divorced before 10 January 1978 in New Castle, DE. Elizabeth F. "Betty" Mancari, daughter of Carmen F. Mancari and Catherine Collavini, was born on 16 August 1940 in Wilmington, New Castle, DE. She died on 18 May 2006 at the age of 65 in Wilmington, New Castle, DE. Elizabeth "Betty" Mancari Skillman, age 65 of Elmhurst, Wilmington, Delaware, passed away on Thursday morning, May 16, 2006.

Betty was born in Wilmington on August 16, 1940, daughter of the late Carmen and Catherine (Collavini) Mancari. She worked as a hairdresser for several years in the Wilmington area. She was a member of the Wacky Club in Wilmington.

Betty is survived by her lifelong companion, James J. Quigley; her daughters, Catherine Paoli, Ramona Castellani, and her husband Carlo Castellani, Domenica Watts, and her husband Steven; 14 grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter. She is also survived by her brother, Franics Mancari; and her sisters, Cecilia Mancari and Maria Mancari. Betty was predeceased by her son Carmen Skillman.

Family and friends may call at the Doherty funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Tuesday evening, May 23, from 6-7 pm. A funeral service will begin at 7 pm. Entombment will be held privately for her family in All Saints Cemetery.

Irene A. Kessler was born on 18 May 1938. She died on 4 December 2000 at the age of 62 at Christiana Hospital in Wilmington, DE. She was buried at Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. DuPont Highway in New Castle, DE.
