John Skillman and Margaret Blackwell were married in 1836. They appeared in the census in 1850 in Montgomery Twp., Somerset, NJ. In the 1850 Census, his granddaughter, Caroline, was living with them. Margaret Blackwell was born about 1782. She died on 16 June 1863 at the age of 81. She was buried in Kingston, Somerset, NJ.
