Claribel B. Skillman was born about 1907 in New York. She died on 24 October 1949 at the age of 42 in Imperial, Cohoes, NY. Miss Claribel B. Skillman, mail room supervisor of the New York Telephone Company in Albany 15 years, died Monday at her home 26 Imperial Street, Cohoes.

born in Troy, Miss Skillman moved to Cohoes two years ago. She was a member of the board of the Fifth Avenue State Street Methodist Church, Troy, and participated in the Sunday School and youth work in the church, she was a member of the Palestine Chapter, and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Miss Skillman attended State College for Teachers and was graduated from Allen School of Commerce, Troy. Surviving is her mother Mrs. Elizabeth K. Skillman.

funeral services will be in the Mason Chapel, 588 Second Avenue, Troy, at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Harold W. Griffis, Fifth Avenue State Street Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. She was buried on 26 October 1949 at Oakwood Cemetery, Sec. D, Lot 176, Grave 13 in Troy, Rensselaer, NY.
