9159. Charles Eugene Skillman was born on 13 November 1931 in Peoria, Peoria, IL. He lived in Sunrise Beach, MO on 30 January 1999. He was living in January 2003 in Missouri. Charles died on 16 October 2015 at the age of 83 at Lauri Care Center in Gravois Mills, MO.

Charles Eugene “Chuck” Skillman, age 83, of Sunrise Beach, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at Laurie Care Center. He was born November 13, 1931, in Peoria, Illinois, a son of the late Charles and Mara (Freeman) Skillman.
On August 31, 1956, in Peoria, Illinois, Chuck was united in marriage to Patricia Elgie Skillman, who preceded him death on September 19, 2014. 
Chuck spent many years as an advertising entrepreneur, owning and operating Skillman Advertising. His involvement in the Lake area included a very active role in the Osage Community Elks Lodge #2705 in Laurie, where he utilized his expertise and served as the director or public relations. In addition, he was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, having served in the Korean Conflict. 
He is survived by his two sons and two grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family and friends. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Patricia. 
There are no memorial services planned at this time. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria Heights, Illinois. Expressions of sympathy may be left online at www.kidwellgarber.com.  
Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.

Charles Eugene Skillman and Patricia Elgie were married on 31 August 1956 in Peoria,IL. Patricia Elgie died on 19 September 2014.
