Galen David Heinelt Skillman died peacefully at his home. He was regarded as the "Rebel Angel," one of God's own. He was 52.

Galen was born at Hunterdon Medical Center, the beloved son of Margaret and William Skillman.

Galen was a kind humbled soul who greeted the world as they walked by. He was a member of WBAI Radio Station in New York City; they spoke the truth about the world. He was loved ever so dearly by his sisters and will be missed forever in our hearts. "Where there is love, I'll be there."

Surviving are his brother, William Skillman of Monson, Mass.; two sisters, Melanie Skillman of Wingdale, N.Y, and Farin Skillman of Flemington; his favorite nephew, Shannon Young of Guangzhou, China; and his nieces and nephews, Sarah Skillman of Boston, Aaron Skillman of Boston, Katie Skillman of Monson and Tanta Claire Stubben of Pennington.

Memorial services: Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 2 p.m. in Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington, led by Pastor Dennis Durasoff of Shepherd of the Valley Church, Holland Township. Visitation: 1 p.m. in the funeral home until the time of the service. Interment: private.
