Dennis “SKILLY” Skillman Dennis Palmer Skillman, 58, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away Friday, March 18, 2011, in the Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Daytona Beach, FL. Dennis was born, March 3rd, 1953 in Washington, DC, the son of Leroy “Earl” and Shirley Mae Hough Skillman. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his wife of over 20 years, Wanda Sue in October 2007. He worked for Central Hydraulics in Daytona Beach, FL in shipping/receiving. While residing in Wardensville, WV he previously worked as a mechanic and in service at Dulles JEEP, VA and Thomassen Ford, WV. He was a 1971 graduate of Yorktown High School, Arlington VA. He loved riding his Harley, enjoyed cooking, and was an avid Washington Redskins and Mopar Fan. He will be missed by his Family and Friends, especially his beloved dog, Bentley. Surviving are his two children (from his marriage to their mother, Cathy), James “Jimmy” Skillman of Winchester, Belinda Saville and her husband Ben Saville of Winchester, two grandchildren, Bradley Skillman and Taylor Saville, and one sister, Paula Souther, of Florida. The Family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the “Dennis Skillman Memorial Fund” c/o The Bank of Clarke County, 3360 Valley Pike, Winchester, VA 22602. The money will be shared with local Winchester pet and rescue shelters. He was a worker at Central Hydraulics in Daytona Beach, Volusia, FL. Skilly was an employee at Dulles Jeep and Thomassen Ford in Wardensville, Hardy, WV.
