Shirley Mae Skillman, 74, of Beachway Drive, Palm Coast, Fla., died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, in Flagler Pines Nursing Home, Bunnell, Fla. Mrs. Skillman was born April 22, 1926, in Wardensville, W.Va., the daughter of Reginald P. and Mary Palmer Hough.

She was a member of Clarendon Baptist Church, Clarendon. Surviving are a son, Dennis Skillman of Wardensville; a daughter, Paula Sothers of Palm Coast; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Faith Mission Church, Wardensville, with Pastor David Garns officiating. Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery, Wardensville. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Loy-Giffin Funeral Home, Wardensville.
