298. Joseph McLaughlin was born about 1809. Deed Book "A" page 196 of Talladega County states that Joseph Mclaughlin and his wife Malintha bought 20 acres of land from Pasco Yaholo, a creek Indian of the Hatchet Creek Town on the Andrus Roll on the 25 May, 1835 for the sum of $90 Dollars.

Joseph McLaughlin and Malintha Clampett were married in Blount Co., AL. Malintha Clampett was born about 1811.
