2024. Jesse Carr Skillman was born on 13 September 1814 in Aquebogue, Suffolk, Long Island, NY. Or Chenango Co., N.Y. He appeared in the census in 1840 in Greenwood, Steuben, NY. In teh 1840 Census he is listed as Jesse Scilman, with one person under age of 5 and one between 20 and 30. The first would be Nathan, and the second his wife Anna. From 1850 to 1870 he was a farmer in West Union Twp., Steuben, NY. Jesse died on 10 February 1879 at the age of 64 in West Union Twp., Steuben, NY. He was buried at Hauber Cemetery in Rexville, Steuben, NY.

She died on 22 March 1889 at the age of 70 in Rexville, Steuben, NY. She was buried at Hauber Cemetery in Rexville, Steuben, NY.
