White Marsh - The man who was killed Monday night after crashing his Ford pickup truck into an electrical pole on Pulaski Highway has been identified as Ronald Leroy Skillman, 32, of Joppa, county police said yesterday.
Skillman of the 2300 block of McGuigan Drive was driving east on Pulaski Highway near Ebenezer Road about 7:30 p.m. when he clipped the left rear fender of a Chevrolet Lumina that he was trying to pass, police said. Skillman lost control of his truck, which hit a guardrail and pole before flipping over and landing at the bottom of a ravine.
Investigators said speed and driver error caused the accident. He had Social Security Number 219-90-9901.
