They moved to their home one mile south of Springtown, TX, December 13, 1881. 4. With their two children, they left TN on December 6, 1881, for TX in company with about 60 other people, arriving in Weatherford on December 9th. They headed straight for Springtown and moved into their home one mile south of town on December 13th. Most of that company of people settled in or near Springtown.
