1685. Franklin Burret/Bromley "Frank" Skillman was born in April 1842 in Three Mile Run, New Brunswick, Somerset, NJ. He died Drowning on 26 September 1884 at the age of 42 in Long Branch, Monmouth, NJ. Frank B. Skillman's Body Found.

Long Branch, N.J., September 26. - The body of Frank B. Skillman was found on the beach near the foot of Cottage Place to-day. Mr. Skillman fell overboard from the yacht Modesty, near Sandy Hook, Saturday evening, while fishing with the owner of the yacht, John C. Cracknell of Bayonne City, and a party of friends. The dead man had been in the employ of the Pennsylvania Railroad for 21 years as a clerk. He lived at No. 10 Colden-street, Jersey City. He leaves a widow, one son, and two daughters.

"Mr. Skillman fell overboard from the yacht Modesty, near Sandy Hook, Saturday evening, while fishing with the owner of the yacht, John C. Cracknell of Bayonne City, and a party of friends." On 26 September 1884 he was a Railroad clerk, Pennsylvania Railroad. in Jersey City, Hudson, NJ. Frank served in the military Civil War. He is listed in Ancestry's Civil War Pension Index, filed N.J., widow Sarah L. Skillman.

She died Carcinoma Uterus. on 3 January 1910 at the age of 61 at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, Hudson, NJ. Sarah Louise Skillman, died 03 January 1910, place of death, Christ Hospital, Jersey City, Hudson, NJ; Widow; born 18 December 18??; age 62 years and 16 days; occupation, none; birthplace, New York; father, Peter Voorhees, born in New York State; mother, Sarah Deats, born in New York State; cause of death, Carcinoma Uterus; burial, NY Bay Cemetery; informant, Ella Anderson, 20 Olean Avenue. Sarah was buried after 3 January 1910 at New York Bay View Cemetery in Jersey City, Hudson, NJ.
