1682. George Raymond Skillman Sr. was born about 1838 in near New Brunswick, NJ. In 1870 he was a Railroad Conductor in New Brunswick, Middlesex, NJ. He appeared in the census in 1920 at 153 W. Washington in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA. In 1920 Census he was living with his widowed daughter, Mary Virginia Anthony. George died on 6 August 1923 at the age of 85 in Upland, Delaware, PA. He was buried at Santa Barbara Cemetery in Santa Barbara Co., CA.

George Raymond Skillman Sr. and Mary Catherine Lockwood were married on 12 January 1859 in Bordentown, Burlington, NJ. They appeared in the census in 1870 in New Brunswick, Middlesex, NJ. Mary Catherine Lockwood, daughter of Edwin Lockwood and Sarah A. Unknown, was born in 1841 in Burlington, NJ. She died between 1908 and 1920 at the age of 67 in Upland, Delaware, PA.
