Joseph died on 10 May 1915 at the age of 82 at home in New Rochelle, Westchester, NY. New York Times gives 5/12/1915, in his 84th year, at home in New Rochelle, N.Y.
. He was buried at Bound Brook Cemetery in Bound Brook, Somerset, NJ. Joseph P. Skillman purchased Lot 25, Section E, graves 1-10 in the Bound Brook Cemetery, Bound Brook, NJ. on 9/18/1865. An undated listing of interments has graves 1-7 filled, Joseph not listed. Ownership was transferred on 6/18/1936 to Helen C. LaTourette, 900 Mon. Duxbury Drive, Beverly Hills, CA. He was a Clothing Merchant at dry goods firm of E.S. Jaffrey & Co..

3686	i.	Julia Skillman was born on 13 February 1858 in Plainfield, Union, NJ. She died on 29 July 1858 at the age of 0. She was buried on 29 July 1862 at Bound Brook Cemetery in Bound Brook, Somerset, NJ. Buried in Lot 25, Section E, grave 1.
3687	ii.	Henry Shaddle "Harry" Skillman was born in May 1859 in New Jersey. In the Census of 1860 he was 1, in 1870 11, 1880 21, so that he was born about 1859. Census of 1900 clearly lists birth as May 1863. He died on 16 November 1944 at the age of 85 at New Rochelle Hospital in New Rochelle, Westchester, NY. Obit in NY Times, 17 Nov 1944. New Rochelle, N.Y. Nov. 16- Harry S. Skillman of 64 Chauncy Avenue, this city, former interior decorator in New York for fifty years, died yesterday in the New Rochelle Hospital at the age of 84. Two nephews and a niece survive.
