343. John Skillman was born on 21 September 1790 in Kingston, Somerset, NJ. He was living in 1860 in Kings Co., NY. In 1860 he was a saddler in Kings Co., NY. John died in 1870 at the age of 80. His SOA Number is 149. In the 1860 Census he and his wife were living with son Edward in New York City.

John Skillman and Susan F. Hollingshead were married on 17 August 1815. Susan F. Hollingshead, daughter of Unknown Hollingshead, was born about 1795. She died after 1860 at the age of 65.
