Preceded in death by son Charles Clements, also father Charles A Bacon, her step-mother Cora Bacon; half sister Kay Hansard, and grandchildren, Debbie Eileen Young and Jeffrey Lynn Perry.

She was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort, Boone County, IN.

Verna Eileen "Eileen" Bacon and Charles Clifford Clements were married on 4 June 1933. Charles Clifford Clements, son of Charles E. Clements and Emma Beatrice Fry, was born on 11 June 1914 in Kirklin, IN. He died in November 1969 at the age of 55 in Lebanon, Boone, IN.
