Last Will and Testament of Phebe Doty

I Phebe Doty widow of William Doty deceased of Randolph County in the State of Indiana do make this my last will and testament revoking all wills by me at anytime made.
First I direct that my body be decently interned, that all my past debts and funeral expenses be paid; after which I would dispose of such worldly estate as I may be possessed of as follows.
1st To my son John Doty I will and bequeath all my real estate.
2nd I direct that my personal property be equally divided among my nine children named as follows. Sarah Hodge, Absolom Doty, Platt Doty,William Doty, Solomon Doty, Phebe Wall, John Doty, Jeptha Doty and Julia A Barlew, to share and share alike said personal estate.
And I hereby appoint John Doty of Randolph County, Indiana my executer of this my last will and testament to execute and carry out the distribution of my said property therein made. In Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this sixteenth day of May one thousand eight hundred and sixty five.
