497. Thomas Quick Skillman was born on 22 September 1796 in Harlingen, Montgomery Twp., Somerset, NJ. He was baptized on 9 December 1796. He lived in Springfield, Clark, OH in 1850. In 1860 Thomas was a farmer in Pleasant Run, Springfield, Hamilton, OH. He died on 5 April 1871 at the age of 74. His SOA Number is 111. He was buried at Old St. Mary's Cemetery in Springdale, Hamilton, OH. From SOA:
With her [wife], her mother and sisters (see No. 16) he came from Harlingen N. J., circa 1820, to the Miami Valley, near Cincinnati, and there made their future home.

Gitty Ann Beekman Skillman, daughter of Abraham Beekman Skillman and Catharine Voorhees, was born on 25 January 1798. RootsWeb and Find-a-Grave have b. Nov. 25, 1797.
