He married Cheryl Whitlock in California on August 2, 1980. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gambling, golf, playing Tetris and pool, singing and cooking. He was a member of the Ranchester Town Council, dayton Rotary Club and the Bass Fishing Club. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Stephanie, Cheralynn and Kristian Skillman and Irene Weimer, all of Ranchester; a son Robby of Sheridan; his mother, Shirley Nichols; his stepmother, Wanda Skillman; his grandfather, Robert Perry; two brothers, Jimmy and Larry; a sister, Sheryl Johnson; a stepbrother, Steven Skillman; and five grandchildren. Memorials may be made to a fund in Mr. Skillman's name at Cowboy State Bank. He died on 24 June 2005 at the age of 50 at home in Ranchester, WY. Cheryl Thelma Whitlock (private).
