Elizabeth Skillman and John Morrell Jr. were married on 9 November 1756 at Presby. Church in Newtown, Queens, NY. New York Marriages Record M.B., Vol i, page 339. Date of marriage is given as Oct 30, 1756. John Morrell Jr., son of John Morrell and Phebe Alburtis, was born on 21 October 1733 in Newtown (Maspeth Kills), Queens, NY. He served in the military in 1776 in Revolutionary War. Private in Capt. Abraham Riker's company, New York Line. He died on 7 February 1816 at the age of 82.
