63. Hester/Esther Skillman was born on 26 March 1744 in Brooklyn, Kings, NY. She died on 3 July 1827 at the age of 83. Her SOA Number is 6 ii. From SOA:
m. William Paynter, who came, a Quaker, from Philadelphia (others say from Southampton, L. I.), to whom his father-in-law (also inclined to Quakerism and never went to church), in a deed, 1788, conveyed his farm at Dutch Kills (see ab.); consideration, £767. This led to a law-suit and to sore trouble in the household. (Skillmans of N.Y., p. 18)

Hester/Esther Skillman and William Payntar were married on 20 March 1764 at Presby. Church in Newtown, Queens, NY. LDS has marriage 11 Feb 1764.
New York marriages has 12 Mar 1764, Record M.B., Vol iv, page 103. William Payntar was born in 1735. He died on 1 April 1823 at the age of 88.
