Born Nov. 2, 1904, in Pekin to Franklin L. and Ella Hippen Velde, she married C.F. ''Skeet'' Skillman on Feb. 19, 1927, in Pekin. He died Feb. 22, 1960, in Pekin. She later married George Stolley on July 30, 1968, in Pekin. He died Sept. 28, 1972. She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Skillman Warner, one brother and two grandchildren. Surviving are one son, David (and Ruth) Skillman of Glenview; two stepsons, James Stolley of Erie, Pa., and Richard Stolley of New York; four grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and nine stepgreat-grandchildren. She was a former member of the Pekin Woman's Club. She was a member of Congregational United Church of Christ in Pekin and its Women's Fellowship and the Silver Cross Circle of the King's Daughters and Sons, Chapter GW of the PEO Sisterhood. Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at her church. The Rev. Gary Johnson will officiate. There will be no visitation. Burial of ashes will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Noel-Henderson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army in Pekin.
