Earl C. Skillman, 80, of Brakeley Gardens, Lopatcong Township, N.J., formerly of the Care Center of Phillipsburg, died Monday in Warren Hospital. He was the husband of Rebecca (Fink) Skillman. A self-employed mechanic, he owned and operated Skillman's Garage in North Branch, N.J., for 45 years before retiring in 1969. He also built and raced cars in the Flemington and Langhorne, Bucks County,areas. Surviving with his widow are a son, Earl C. Jr. of Wayne,N.J.; two daughters, Diane Corley of Lopatcong Township and Yvonne Tine of Flemington; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren Earl had Social Security Number 135-30-5212.
