She died on 15 September 2012 at the age of 100 at at home in Hamilton, Somerset, NJ. Frances M. Skillman HAMILTON - Frances M. (Metz) Skillman, 101, of Hamilton,passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012,surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, Mrs. Skillman was a lifetime Trenton area resident. Frances retired at the age of 77 from her duties as clinic registrar with St. Frances Medical Center of Trenton. She enjoyed sewing and baking and loved her family most of all, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Skillman's parents were John H. and Lillian (Logan) Metz. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Hancock Sr.; her son, John "Jackie" Hancock;her second husband, Edgar G. Skillman, and her brothers, John,Edmund, William and Arthur Metz. Mrs. Skillman is survived by her children, Robert Skillman and his wife, Susan, Grace V. Sharp, and her husband, Bradford, Karen M. Schemmer and her husband, William;her stepdaughter, Elinor Murphy and her husband, John; her grandchildren, Robert Skillman and his wife, Colleen, Shelly Skillman, David Skillman and his wife, Courtney, Alison Mitchell andher husband, Brian, Kyle Sharp and his wife, Kara, and Christopher Schemmer; her step-grandchildren, Diane Covell and her husband, Ed,Kathy Ellex and her husband, Jeff, Patty Mills and her husband, Ray,John Murphy and his wife, Cheryl, and Judy Gariano; her six great-grandchildren; her eight step-great-grandchildren, and her nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held for Mrs.Skillman at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
