KEWANEE -- Velma I. Skillman, 69, of 219 Edwards St. died Wednesday, April 29, 1992, at Saint Francis Medical Center in
Peoria.
She was born Dec. 3, 1922, in Sterling, Colo., to Otis and Inez Gill Hamilton.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James (Kristina) Wenstrom of Knoxville and Mrs. Chuck (Marlene "Po") Andrewjeski of Kewanee; two grandchildren; and friend, Jack W. Morgan of Kewanee.
She operated a day care center in her home.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Kewanee and Henry County Humane Society.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rux Funeral Home.  The Rev.
Jim Johnson will officiate.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg.
Memorials may be made to her church or Children's Miracle Network in care of St. Francis Medical Center.
