Also survivng are two daughters, Diane, and Meredith: her mother, Mrs. Dorothy Widney of Grand Rapids, two sisters, Mrs. C. Warren Helsley of Sunflower, Kansas; and Mrs. Richard B. McKeough of East Lansing: her grandmothers, Mrs. Arthur F. Walker of Grand Rapids and Mrs. John W. Widney of Yorkville, Illinois, an aunt, Mrs. H.L. Dewey of Rockford, Michigan. Mrs. Bethune will be at the Metcalf Mortuary Tuesday afternoon, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with Dr. Charles M. Houser of East Congregational Church officiating, interment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Grand Rapids Herald, 11 November 1949.
