1472. Charles Oliver Joline was born on 1 March 1816. He served in the military in 1847 in Mexican war. Adjutant, 2nd Ohio Volunteers. He served in the military between 1862 and 1866 at Civil War. Major and Aide-de-Camp, 1863-6, on staff of Gen. John A. Dix; Brevt. Lieut.-Col. Vols. Charles died on 17 February 1885 at the age of 68. He was a merchant in Chilicothe, OH. He was educated at Princeton Univ. in Princeton, Mercer, NJ. Member of class of 1834, did not graduate.
