Carolyn Skillman, nee Ploger, 73, of Waukegan and formerly of Glenview and Evanston, died Jan. 13 in Winchester House, Libertyville.

Ms. Skillman was born May 26, 1929 in Evanston. She worked as a teacher.

Survivors include a nephew, Jeffery Ploger; one son, John (Andrea) of Gurnee; one daughter, Anne of Australia; two grandchildren, Sonia and Douglas Skillman of Gurnee; and one brother, Bob (Betty) Ploger of Texas.

A memorial service was held Sunday, Jan. 19, at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel of Peace, Skokie. Interment followed in the same location.

Suicide. She had Social Security Number 224-48-7945.
