1359. Abraham Skillman was born in 1825 in New Jersey. From SOA, note under #72:
N. B-Abraham Skillman, resident and property owner, 1876, at Hampton Junction, J.J., name in Dunn's Commercial Register; d. away from home some years later; probably member of family of Benjamin (see 30); had brothers, William and Peter, who moved to Mansfield, O; m. Sarah MacDonald of Glen Gardner, Hunterdon Co., N.J. They had : John M., b. July 14, 1852, m. and lived in New York City in 1889, and at "The Warwick," Grand Rapids, Mich., from 1892 to 1901, where wife d. and was buried at Glen Gardner, leaving a grown-up dau. Florence.

He was listed in Dun's Commercial Register.

Abraham Skillman and Sarah Jane MacDonald appeared in the census in 1860 in Bethlehem, Hunterdon, NJ. They lived in Hampton Junction, NJ in 1876. They were married. Sarah Jane MacDonald, daughter of John MacDonald and Anna Moore, was born in 1829. She died on 6 June 1893 at the age of 64 in Bethlehem, Hunterdon, NJ. She was buried at Spruce Run Lultheran Churchyard in Glen Gardner, Hunterdon, NJ.

3206	ii.	Stewart Skillman was born in 1854. He died on 16 February 1940 at the age of 86 in Hunterdon Co., NJ. He was buried at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton, Hunterdon, NJ. Buried in 284-4.

3208	iv.	Theodore Skillman was born on 29 November 1862 in Bethlehem, Hunterdon, NJ. He died on 5 April 1878 at the age of 15 in Junction, NJ. From the Internet: Killed on the Rail A sad accident occurred Friday evening, 5th inst., in front of the depot in Glen Gardner. Theodore a son of Abraham Skillman, aged 16 years, attempted to jump on a passing coal train, to ride home, and was thrown under the cars, having both legs severed below the knees, one thigh mashed and one leg badly angled above the knee. The youth lived in great agony until the following evening, some twenty-four hours after the terrible accident. He was buried at Spruce Run Lutheran Churchyard in Glen Gardner, Hunterdon, NJ.
