FAIRVIEW - Charles A. Skillman, 67, of 630 Main St. died at 8:02 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2001, at his residence.
Born Dec. 4, 1933, in Canton to Charles P. and Millie Boling Skillman, he married Delora Hutton on Nov. 29, 1982, in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Eugene Kenney and Robert Kenney, both of Canton; four daughters, Debra Beasley of Canton, Melody Miller of Clarksville, Tenn., Kristina Skillman of Fairview and Cathy Skillman of Quincy; 11 grandchildren, including Charles Skillman of Fairview, whom he raised; and one sister, Wilma Jenkins of Canton.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild and one sister.
He worked as a carpenter most of his life.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Walnut Cemetery in Banner. There will be no visitation. Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Graham Hospital Hospice.
