Franklin, age 38, of Cowan, passed away quietly and unexpectledly at his residence on Saturday, January 16, 2010. Robert attended the University of the South for over three years, after graduating from Motlow State Community College with Honors. He was a "die-hard" UT and Dallas Cowboy's football fan. Robert was disabled. He was preceded in death by his father, Dewey Leon Franklin, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Shawn Franklin. Brothers; Dewey Leon, Jr., and wife Sharon, Thomas Franklin, Sister Dawn Bailey, and her husband, John all of Cowan. Maternal Grandmother, Jacqueline Skillman, of Englewood, TN. Several Aunts and Uncles and many, many friends. It was Robert's wish to be cremated. Private services will be held on Wednesday at Cowan Montgomery Cemetery, Cowan, TN.
