Harold "Hal" Skillman Resident of Pleasant Hill, Ca. Hal, 75, passed away on July 17th, 2013 at home peacefully in his sleep while surrounded by his loving wife, Martha and children. A great man was lost this day. After fighting multiple health issues, he passed away. He was born and raised in San Francisco. He graduated from Lowell High School, served proudly in the U.S.Navy, raised his family in Pleasant Hill, was a retired BART Supervisor, was a very proud servant of the Knights of Columbus as a Charter past Grand Knight for council 131179 (2002-2003) , a past Faithful Navigator for Assembly-2286 (2003-2004) and a devoted Husband and Father. Hal is survived by his devoted wife, Martha, 4 children, Spencer,Elizabeth, Philip, and John. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and those he touched. Viewing and the rosary will be on Wednesday, July 24th, 2013, at 10:00 AM and followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, at Saint Francis Assisi Church, , 860 Oak Road, Concord, California 94518.
