Hollis Carl Skillman Jr., 71, of Stephenville died Monday, Aug. 1, 2011, in Fort Worth. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Stephenville Funeral Home. Hollis was born Oct. 22, 1939, to the late Hollis and Ola Faye Skillman Sr. He married Patsy Ruth Wooley on Sept. 16, 1962, in Stephenville. She preceded him in death Sept. 16, 2010. Hollis was a member of the First Baptist Church and Home Builders Association, and served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a building contractor. Survivors: His daughter, Brooke Ann Josserand-Kimbler and husband, Craig, of Stephenville; grandchildren, Kody and Taylor Josserand; several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Edith Nicholas.
