9069. William Robert "Bob" Foster was born about 1920 in Lockland, Hamilton, OH. He received a Civil Engineering degree in 1940 at Ohio State Univ. in Ohio. He served in the military pilot from 1941 in U. S. Naval Air Corps. He entered the Navy Air Corps as an aviation cadet in 1941, soloing later that year before being assigned to the Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, TX. Bob died on 15 March 2006 at the age of 86 at home in Wilmington, New Castle, DE. He was an executive. He had a 48 year career in the railroad. He was a Catholic.
