11062. Francis Raymond Skillman Jr. was born about 1933 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. He received a B.S. Engineering degree in 1960 at La Salle University. He received a M.A. Business Administration degree in 1965 at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. Francis R. Skillman, Jr., of Holland, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, January 28, 1999 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 66.

Son of the late Francis R. Sr. and Hortense Deuser Skillman, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Margaret R. "Peg" Friel Skillman.

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Skillman was a 24 year resident of Holland. He graduated from North Catholic High School, class of 1950 and he received his Engineering Degree from LaSalle University in 1961 and his Master's in Business Administration from Drexel University in 1965.

Mr. Skillman was an industrial engineer with Axiom Inc. of Moorestown, N.J. for the past 10 years. He was a member of the Men of St. Timothy's Church in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, and the Men of Malvern, in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Mr. Skillman was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus, Hennessey Council, No. 6145 and the Archbishop Wood 4th Degree Assembly.

Frank served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the AM Vets Post No. 273 Southampton. He was a communicant of the St. Bede the Venerable Church, Holland where he also served as a lector. Among his many hobbies, he enjoyed wood working and model trains, but most of the time he spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Francis R. Skillman III of Holland, Meg Skillman, of Holland, John C. Skillman, of Southampton and Eric M. Skillman, of Avalon, N.J. He is also survived by five grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Tuesday, February 2,, 1999 at 8:30 a.m. from the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Road) Richboro and to his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. St. Bede the Venerable Church, Holland. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.

He was buried at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham, Montgomery, PA. He served in the military Korean war at aircraft carrier, Wasp in U.S. Navy. Francis was a member at St. Bede the Venerable Roman Catholic Church in Holland Twp., Milford, Hunterdon, NJ. He was an Industrial Engineer.
