Leslie Leroy "Roy" Skillman and Eleanor Baldwin were married on 25 June 1938 at Old First Church Presbyterian in Bloomfield, NJ. They appeared in the census in 1940 at 66 N. Willow St. in Montclair, Essex, NJ. Eleanor Baldwin, daughter of Carl Lowe Baldwin and Elizabeth Hannah, was born on 14 November 1914 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She lived at 65 Willet in Bloomfield, NJ on 25 June 1938. She died on 2 December 2012 at the age of 98 at Victoria Mews Assisted Living in Boonton, NJ. AGE: 98 • Boonton Township

Eleanor Baldwin Skillman, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Victoria Mews Assisted Living following a long illness. She was 98. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, she lived in Parsippany, then Morris Plains for 41 years before moving to Boonton Township 4 years ago.

Mrs. Skillman was a licensed psychiatric nurse and had worked at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital, Parsippany, then St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston and retired in 1979 after working at Morristown Memorial Hospital for 10 years. She received her R.N. degree from Greystone Park School of Nursing in 1935. She was a former active member of the Parsippany Presbyterian Church and then the Morris Plains Presbyterian Church.

Her husband, L. LeRoy Skillman, died in 1985. She was also predeceased by her beloved grandson, Phillip Mini, in 2001. She is survived by a son, Arthur W. Skillman and his wife Frances of Germantown, MD; a daughter, Ann L. Mini and her husband Eugene of Boonton Township, three cherished granddaughters, Ann Elizabeth Skillman Petersen and her husband Christian, Ann Ilic and her husband Alex and Karen Mini. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Lauren and Megan Mini and Anthony and Christopher Ilic.

At her request, all funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions in Eleanor's name may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607. Arrangements were by Mackey Funeral Home (www.mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton.
