Richard C. ''Dick'' Skillman, 77, of Socastee, died Sunday, June 22, 1997, at Conway Hospital after an illness.
He was born in Columbia, Mo., a son of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth Skillman.
He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He moved to Myrtle Beach in 1946 and was a retired hotel manager and avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Norwood Skillman; a brother, William Skillman of Albuquerque, N.M.; and a sister, Beth Skillman of Sun City, Calif.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Hillcrest Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow.
