Birth: 1834 Catherine Jane was the wife of John B Hyatt. They had three daughters, Cornelia A, Clara L and Mary. They married between 1850-1852. They must have had two other children who never made a census as in the 1900 Census, Catherine had five children, of which only two were living. Not sure what happened to Clara. I believe I found her in the Italiangen marriage index but the groom shown is named Elizabeth. Clara Sexton, buried in the lot with Mary and Cornelia, is Cornelia's daughter. A couple of unsourced Ancestry trees show her as the daughter of Joseph Skillman and Maria Lizetta Anderson. This would be consistent with daughter Cornelia's middle name of Anderson, sourced to her marriage notice. Date of birth is estimated based on 1860 Census. Family links: Her SOA Number is 161 i. Catherine Jane Skillman and John Burbridge Hyatt were married on 14 November 1850. John Burbridge Hyatt, son of John White Hyatt and Cornelia Livingston Burbridge, was born in 1826.
