Magdalena Voorhees Stryker, daughter of John Domenicus Stryker and Maria Hoagland, was born on 26 August 1819 in Neshanic, Somerset, NJ. She lived Montgomery Twp., Somerset, N.J. in 1850. She immigrated in 1851 to Fulton Co., IL. Magdalena died on 31 October 1894 at the age of 75 in Seward Co., NE. She was buried at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Ruby, Seward, NE.
