Surviving are his wife, Murle; five daughters, Mrs. Audrey Huffman of Novinger, Mo., Marjorie Skillman of North Liberty, Iowa, Bonnie Wever of Hurdland, Mo., Barbara Ann Carroll of Florissant, Mo., and Linda Lou Strabley of Kirksville, Mo.; four sons, Jack of Bellevue, Neb., Allan and Robert, both of Kirksville, Mo., and Gerald of New London, Iowa; 28 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Virginia William of Carthage, Mo.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at the Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home with Brother Howard Hartung officiating and burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Macon. Visitation will be between 7 and 9 p.m., Friday. He was buried on 6 March 1982 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Macon, MO.
