Thelma Lea Caproni Skillman, 79, of Maysville, died at 8:50 a.m. Saturday at Vanceburg Rehabilitation Health Care Center. She was owner of Caproni's Restaurant in Maysville, and a member of St. Patrick Church, Maysville. Her first husband, Alfred William Caproni, died in 1966. Her second husband, John W. Skillman, died in 1987.

Survivors include daughters, Barbara Verville of Maysville and Nancye Hauck of Louisville; a son, Edward Skillman of Lexington; a sister, Juanita Oliverio of Ashland; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brell Funeral Home, Maysville. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Maysville.
