1860. Peregrine C. "Perry" Skillman was born on 10 November 1836. He appeared in the census in 1850 in Goshen, Champaign, OH. In the 1850 Census he was living with Ruth Ann Rondabush, 17, Adam Luvan, 70, Caroline Luvan, 26, Robert Luvan, 24 and Cynthia L. Luvan, 9. In 1880 he was a farmer in Marion, Clinton, OH. Perry died on 10 June 1923 at the age of 86 in Norwood, Hamilton, OH. He was buried on 12 June 1923 at Maineville Cemetery in Hamilton, Warren, OH.

Peregrine C. "Perry" Skillman and Nancy Jane Butz were married on 30 October 1862 in Hamilton, Butler, OH. They appeared in the census in 1880 in Marion, Clinton, OH. He died in infancy. Nancy Jane Butz, daughter of William Butts and Anna Huffman, was born on 8 September 1841 in Ohio. She died on 20 December 1914 at the age of 73 in Lockland, Hamilton, OH. She was buried on 23 December 1914 at Mainville Cemetery in Lockland, Hamilton, OH.
