SKILLMAN, CHARLES W., 78, of Cape May Court House, died on Sunday, September 23, 2001, at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Lambertville, he had lived here for 20 years after moving from Lambertville. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW, the Union Fire Company, the Sewer Authority, Rotary, and the Oddfellows.
Mr. Skillman is survived by his wife, Jane I. Skillman; his niece, Jane Nicholson of Lewes, DE; his step children, Ralph Messick, Robert Messick, Lisa Haffelfinger, Karen Messick, and Paul Messick; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 29, at 2 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Ct. Hse., where friends may call after 1 PM. Interment is private.
