7536. Robert Calvin Skillman was born on 17 December 1922 in Hamilton, Butler, OH. He served in the military corporal from 3 October 1942 to 15 June 1944 in U.S. Marines. He entered service from Butler Co., Ohio. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

KIA He died in combat on 15 June 1944 at the age of 21 at the beachhead in Saipan. Robert was buried on 24 March 1949 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, in Honolulu, Oahu, HI. Buried at Section D, Site 18.
