James Skillman and Dulcina D. Burkett were married on 18 December 1887. Dulcina D. Burkett, daughter of Benton Clement Burkett and Rebecca Nutgrass, was born on 14 January 1863 in Fincastle, IN. She died on 19 June 1931 at the age of 68 at at her home in Raccoon, Putnam Co., IN. She was ill for 2 1/2 years and died from a complication of diseases. She was buried on 21 June 1931 at Blakesburg Cemetery in Fincastle, IN. Dulcina was at Raccoon Methodist Church in Raccoon, Putnam Co., IN. Her given name on the stone is clearly Dulla.
