1255. Anne True Skillman was born on 20 September 1848 in Missouri. She died before 1948 at the age of 100.

Anne True Skillman and John Jeff Raymond were married in 1870 at Christian Church in Platte City, Platte, MO. Married - At Platte City in the Christian Church, by Rev. T.P. Haley, Mr. J.J. Raymond and Miss Annie C (?) Skillman.

The bride was attended by four bridesmaids, Miss Ella Murdock, Miss Annie Paxton, Miss Lizzie Belt, and Miss Mollie Nash, representing the beauty and elegance of old Platte. The ceremony was very impressive and grand. After receiving the congratulations of their many friends, the happy couple departed on a bridal tour, to the East. We wish them all the happiness their hearts can receive. May they feel that now they possess, "Two souls with but a single thought, Two hearts that beat as one." Weston Landmark. John Jeff Raymond was born in 1834. He died in 1883 at the age of 49.
