Cause of death was "Mitral regurgitation with edema, cerebral hemorrhage."

Notice of death in Trenton Sunday Times Advertiser. Tuesday, Dec. 26 1916 "At Taylorsville, Pa., Mary E., wife of George R.G. Skillman, aged 42 years." She was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lambertville, Hunterdon, NJ.

Gaddis Skillman was born on 2 February 1899. He died on 17 July 1917 at the age of 18 in Wilkensburg, PA. Cause of death: "Fracture at base of skull and internal injuries due to being caught between angle iron on RR car while at work." (M. Wrona, Anc. Msg. Bd 4/5/2002)
Obit in Trenton (NJ) Sunday Times, 7/22/1917, gives Elrama, Pa. as death place, but that is the address of the "informant" on the death certificate.

Death Certificate File No 80125, Registered No. 296, gives Wilkinsburg, Alleghany, PA as place of death. He was found at 5 a.m. He was buried in Titusville, Mercer Co., NJ. Gaddis was a brakeman at Pennsylvania Railroad in Wilkensburg, PA.
